The release of the summer, if not 2009 so far (evidenced by a cover feature in a recent edition of Blues & Rhythm magazine - plus full 2 page special review by Neil Slaven). 5CDs of his Chess material including all the great and historic stuff plus rare tracks, alternate takes, and unreleased bits and pieces.
A number of customers who have got in early on this have said that they have never before heard Little Walter records sound so good. As Hip-O is a part of Universal (who own the Chess catalogue) they have clearly had the advantage of using the master tapes when putting together this superior package.
Much sought after - not really on general release in the UK but we have ‘em.
